New York Knicks guard Miles McBride has stated that he is ready to take on additional responsibility should OG Anunoby remain unavailable in the ongoing playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers.
With Anunoby’s injury status still up in the air, McBride expressed confidence in stepping into a larger role if the coaching staff calls upon him.
“I feel like the coaching staff trusts me, I know my teammates trust me, and I trust myself overall,” McBride said. “So if that happens, I know I’ll be ready.”
McBride has spent five seasons with the Knicks, averaging 7.1 points per game across 277 regular-season appearances.
