Russian coach Igor Shalimov has outlined the major signings Real Madrid must make to fix their attacking struggles.
“Real Madrid needs to remove either Mbappe or Vinicius. In my opinion, Vinicius should go. The club must then bring in a powerful center-forward — that would be Haaland. On the right flank, they should sign Olise from Bayern Munich. Then everything will be fine,” Shalimov said on Match TV.
Real Madrid currently sit second in the La Liga table. The team has failed to win any trophy this season, after a 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in the 35th round of the league denied them the title. Earlier, the club lost to the Catalans in the Spanish Super Cup final, were eliminated in the Champions League quarter-finals, and fell in the Copa del Rey round of 16.
