Japan Race Promotion Inc. (JRP), the organizer of the premier Japanese motorsport championship SUPER FORMULA, has confirmed the third edition of its Technical Session, scheduled for July 17, 2026, at Fuji Speedway in Oyama, Shizuoka Prefecture. The event will center on Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), reflecting the industry’s shift toward software-driven mobility.
JRP aims to leverage motorsport—often called a “running laboratory” due to its extreme conditions and cutting-edge technology—as a bridge between innovation and solving social challenges. First launched in July 2025, the Technical Session serves as a business matching platform for automotive companies and research institutions.
The upcoming session will feature a technology exhibition by SUPER FORMULA partner companies and other leading firms, along with keynote speeches from top industry experts. Admission is free, with approximately 10–20 exhibitors expected and around 100 attendees, including professionals in research, product development, and related fields.
Previous editions saw strong participation: the first in July 2025 attracted 13 exhibitors and about 150 visitors, while the second in November 2025 drew 14 exhibitors and around 180 guests.
